Advent House Hospice Ministry

South Perinton UMC is a founding church of Advent House and Ecumenical Ministries of Perinton

Advent House is a corporation of thirteen churches in Perinton, a non-profit comfort care home providing an alternative living arrangement for the terminally ill when they can no longer be cared for in their own homes. Loving care is not only provided to them, but to their families and friends as well.

All of our services are offered free of charge through the generosity and kindness of our community, friends and neighbors. While our volunteers are indeed the “Heart of the Home”, we could not function without your support through donations, memorials, grants and fundraisers.

Ecumenical Ministries of Perinton includes the Fairport Good Neighbor Fund, Prison Ministries of Upstate NY, Habitat for Humanity, and Learning Links Fairport that provides English Language tutoring for people new to our country.

Inner City Pre School Needs

Preschoolers in Need  Preschool is for 3- and 4-year-olds. Currently there are 175 students enrolled, but this is a transient population, so that number changes daily as does the students who make up that number.  ALL DONATED ITEMS CAN BE NEW OR OLD! -kids don’t care! These are children in the Rochester City School District (RCSD).

Sue Parisi will be collecting any items at the South Perinton UMC. Items can be dropped off the 2nd and the 4th Monday of the month during their quilting time or one Saturday a month on Saturdays, when the Day Quilters are meeting at the church.

Any questions or concerns, please contact Sue Parisi 585-203-2139 or sueaparisi@icloud.com
